£2000 raised at Ampney

We were delighted to hear that our Christmas concert in Ampney Crucis raised nearly £2000 for Grippers. This Gloucestershire charity supports people who are recovering from psychosis.

One very kind email that we recived afterwards read:

"You all did wonderfully - what a marvellous sound the choir makes. Exceptional tone variation - all just very artistic, which is rare - and interesting throughout - thank you"

We had a wonderful time performing at the church and were made to feel most welcome. It is always a pleasure to sing for such a large and appreciative audience, as well as raising money for such a worthwhile cause.

A baby Oriel

If you came to our recent concert in Up Hatherley, then you may have noticed that one of our sopranos was sporting a rather large bump. That bump has now been transformed into a handsome baby boy. The new child is, of course, the spitting image of his dad - who sings in our tenor section.

Congratulations to both of them.

New website goes live

Well, our new website has been in development for many months and now it is live. Do take a look around - it has far more on it than the old site ever had.  It also has a whole new look. We hope that you like it.

One consequence of the new site is that our mailing list has been discontinued. We have become far more hi-tech: you can follow us on Twitter, Facebook or using our RSS feeds.
